Classic Cognac Cocktail 37% ABV
The first cocktail which was honored by giving a name: the SAZERAC. Father of cocktails and a model for 200 years cocktail history - our BOHEMIAN DRINK No. 0.
Based on a high-proof spirit refined with a little sugar, iced water and a bitter, the recipe of the SAZERAC is very much reminiscent of the good old Old Fashioned. Only a few important details differentiate the two: the long-aged XO cognac, the choice of bitters and zest and, not forgetting, the SAZERAC’s hallmark: its absinthe note.
Since the mid-19th century this classic cocktail is famous for its most origin composition. The combination of cognac XO, simple syrup, bitters and absinthe is outreaching, best served on the rocks in a tumbler and garnished with lemon zest.

Tasting Notes
On the nose: intense, spicy with notes of caramel
On the palate: anise, dark chocolate, candied citrus peels
Finish: long and smooth, elegant depth with spicy sweetness.
Overall: intense and soft - with wonderful complexity

Preperation
Pour into a tumbler filled with ice cubes and stir well, drop one dried lemon slice into the cocktail; to finish it off, spray with the atomizer.
