Classic Sherry Cocktail 18 % ABV
In the 1890s the German Louis Eppinger, manager of the Hotel New Grand and one of the fathers of bartending in Japan, created this elegant drink for visiting dignitaries of this historic Hotel in Yokohama. The harmonious composition of dry sherry, dry French vermouth and bitters creates a rich amber color and reflects the timeless presence of this cocktail. Sipped from a chilled Martini glass and garnished with orange zest, the Bamboo stands alone as a drink that is always appropriate, no matter the situation.
